Core Drilling & Grouting
Core Drilling
Core Drilling techniques are used when precise diameter cuts are required for openings. Using diamond drill pieces cooled with water to eliminate the dust associated with the process of drilling, holes can be drilled vertically, horizontally, angled or inverted.
| Drill Depth: | Any requested depth |
| Diametre Sizing: | 12 – 1200 mm |
| Suitability: | Concrete, Limestone, Granite, Marble, Porcelain, Steel, Bitumen, Brick |
| Common Applications: | Plumbing, Electrical, and Gas Services, Core Samples, Lifting Holes |
| Variations: | Electric, Hydraulic, Petrol |
| Drilling Methods: | Vertical, Horizontal, Angled, Inverted |
Stitch Drilling
Stitch Drilling is an extension of core drilling, whereby a series of overlapping core holes are drilled to form openings in floors and walls for removing any thickness concrete in restricted situations where other equipment use is not suitable.
Dry Drilling
Dry Core Drilling techniques are used when precise diameter cuts are required for openings. Unlike standard Core Drilling, Dry Drilling techniques use diamond drill pieces without water however, this method limits the depth and diameter size.
Hammer Drilling
| Drill Depth: | 700mm |
| Diametre Sizing: | 15 – 52 mm |
| Suitability: | Concrete, Limestone, Granite, Bitumen, Brick |
| Common Applications: | Plumbing, Electrical, and Gas Services, Lifting holes, Anchor Bars, Dowel Holes |
| Variations: | N/A |
| Drilling Methods: | Vertical, Horizontal, Angled, Inverted |
